Mosquito 86 incorporates a common yard/leaf blower and a spray system, which uses liqu-shear technology to disperse an insecticide solution into a fine mist. Mosquito 86 has such precise control over the air/agent stream, it is simple to apply to your lawn, trees, bushes and gardens, and the best feature of Mosquito 86 is it will only take you approximately 15 minutes to apply to an average size yard. How often should Mosquito 86 be used?
It depends on the insecticide used. Cyonara 9.7 can give 3-4 week control. Other insecticides such as permethrin provide about a week of reisidual control. Rain can reduce these times. After a rain wait until the rain has dried for reapplication.

Can I apply to grass, plants and shrubs?
Yes, the system can be used on all of the above and it is recommended as that will provide longer lasting protection in a barrier format around your home.

Is the system harmful to pets and children?
When used according to the instructions, it is safe for pets and children. As with any treatment around the home, such as a fertilizer treatment, wait until the solution is dry brfore using the lawn.

Can i use the system as a leaf blower as well?
Absolutely, just remove the pre-configured misting blower pipe and attach the standard blower pipe.

What isthe best time of day to use the Mosquito 86?
Usually right after dust, when the sun is about down and the flying mosquitoes are out of the shadows.

Order Martin's 10% permethrin concentrate for use with the Mosquito 86. 1-2 ounces of permethrin per gallon of water provides effective control for about a week with mild weather conditions.

For extended control - up to 30 days - use Cyonara 9.7 with the Mosquito 86. 0.8 ounces of Cyonara per gallon of water treats 1000 square feet.

It has been several years since there has been a freeze in Houston, TX. I was very excited to try mosquito 86. I had heard and read about such promising results that I could not wait to try it for myself. I was having a large family gathering at my house with plenty of kids being included, so inevitably we would end up out in the yard. We have a lot of bushes and trees and tend to attract a lot of small knatty flies and insects and of course mosquitoes. We sprayed with Mosquito 86 two days before the party in both the front and back yards. It was like a miracle, all the kids stayed outside all day and evening playing, not only were there no bugs, but no one complained about or had any reactions what-so-ever from the spray residue. It continued to be effective for two weeks after the initial spraying until it rained and we re-sprayed again. This is a truly amazing product! With the fairly wet summer we have had to date, we have not been bothered in any way by Mosquitoes, other bugs or flies!! It has been such a pleasure sitting out on the patio and not having to worry about being bothered constantly by insects. I would highly recommend and have recommended to many people Mosquito 86 as a safe and effective insect eliminator. What a small investment to pay for such a huge end result.
